Performs duties to facilitate the execution of special orders for accounts ranging from: national/big box, embroidery, and independents.  Account Executives collaborate with sales professionals/managers and suppliers to maintain production timelines and ensure on-time product delivery.


  • Maintain a customer production calendar with assigned sales professional
  • Organize and plan foundation meetings with sales professionals and relevant departments to build production timelines
  • Review customer/sales professional requests ensuring retailer compliance needs are documented and accounted for prior to placing factory orders
  • Communicate with sales professionals, customers, and internal teams to facilitate on-time delivery of orders
  • Manage multiple orders; review timelines/order status to communicate potential delays to the sales team or buyer
  • Create and update customer spec sheets in Styles Database
  • Create and manage customer and factory purchase orders in Apprise
  • Understand, and be familiar with, customer vendor guides that detail rules/regulations needed to ship successfully to the customer
  • Identify and manage procurement of components (price tickets, sewn-in-labels, polybags, etc.)
  • Manage product testing efforts related to current state and federal requirements, and testing outlined by major retailers
  • Participate in on-boarding of new customer, including EDI setup and maintenance
  • Manage inventory levels reviewing replenishment (draw down) goods, WIPs, and current orders to facilitate inventory turns
  • Troubleshoot issues that affect delivery of goods and follow-up with internal departments, sales, and customers to push critical path of orders
  • Work with the sales team to manage the overall customer relationship. When necessary, seeking customer approvals (eg. component approvals and credit approvals)

  • Demonstrates curiosity, initiative and flexibility in the daily work and in solving problems
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks involving concurrent projects
  • Account Executive is expected to support the company’s Customer Problem Resolution “CPR” program to resolve issues within the same business day.


Reports directly to the Director of Special Orders and Business Intelligence


  • High School Diploma required
  • 3+ years of customer experience strongly encouraged
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to partner with cross functioning teams to solve complex problems
  • Strong organizational abilities. Firm understanding of work prioritization techniques
  • Works well in a team environment and can excel individually

Technical Skills:

  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • (Optional) Prior experience with ERP Software: Apprise
  • (Optional) Prior experience with WMS System: Highjump
  • (Optional) Prior experience with EDI
